This was my second time staying at Ushir’s apartment in Umhlanga, and once again it was an excellent experience. The place is spacious, squeaky clean, and great value for money.
The location is hard to beat — just a short walk to Gateway Mall, in a peaceful and very safe neighbourhood with great security. It’s also an easy 15-minute drive to the Durban ICC, which made it perfect while attending the CPHIA 2025 Conference.
Ushir is a friendly, organised, and professional host who makes the whole stay effortless. This apartment is ideal for business travellers who need quick access to meetings in town but also want a quiet, relaxing space to unwind afterwards.
Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back again.

This is a must stay if you’re visiting Umhlanga.
The apartment is perfect and has everything you need.
The roof top pool is amazing!
The apartment is in the perfect location and you don’t need to take your car when heading to restaurants/shops etc.
The host is very responsive and there when you need them.
100% will stay again and highly recommend to everyone.

We stayed as a family of 5 and had the most comfortable stay. Ushir is a proactive and responsive host, the apartment is well kitted out with him having thought of just about every detail.
Apartment is exactly as shown in pictures.
We had a lovely stay, thank you once more for the warm hospitality. Would definitely visit again.

It was very clean and tidy. The host was very gracious and always made sure we were comfortable. The security of the place is also very good. It feels safe. You get fined for basically anything and everything. The location of the flat itself is not ideal for a group holiday. It is as if you are in boarding school. It would be ideal for a work trip.

Foi tudo muito tranquilo. A casa é lindíssima e localizada numa zona bastante calma. Ushir é muito gentil, prestativo e proactivo. O pessoal da portaria e outros são muito prestativos. O parque de estacionamento é bastante seguro. A vizinhança é muito boa e tranquila. Tudo na casa estava limpo e novo. As camas são bastante confortáveis. Não faltou água. A movimentação pelo apartamento, pelo edifício e pela vizinha é óptima. Sempre que faltou alguma coisa básica, como pão, etc, tivemos uma super loja logo em frente. Valeu cada centavo que pagamos.

I had the pleasure of staying at Green Diamond for 8 days, and it was an excellent experience. The apartment is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere the moment you step in. It’s fully equipped with everything you’d need for a longer stay, making it feel just like home.
The beds were large, extremely comfortable, and dressed in crisp white linen, which made for a great night’s sleep every night. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained throughout.
The location is fantastic – within walking distance to Gateway Shopping Centre and plenty of great restaurants, which made exploring the area both easy and enjoyable.
What really stood out was the host – friendly, warm, and always available to assist whenever needed. Their hospitality made the stay even more special.
Overall, I highly recommend Green Diamond to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay. I’d definitely return!
